CM Sacked disabled employees

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said there is no record of sacked disabled police employees. However Police Department has offered to appoint them as civilian employees.

Replying to a point of order raised by MS Rahila Durrani in Balochistan Assembly that Police Department removed 18 disabled employees from service. They are on strike from Ramzan till to date. But none has paid any attention to their problem nor visited their striking camp. She said extending help to disabled people is our responsibility of us all.

Chief Minister said that 18 disabled people were appointed by a corrupt police officer by taking bribe from them as Constables. But owing to their disablement they were unable to work as Constable. He said we would take action in the matter on the indication of Member of Assembly.
