CMC doctors continue protest

Ratodero: Senior doctors of Chandka Medical College (CMC) Larkana staged a protest rally under the banner of Chandka Teachers Association (CTA) at Larkana on the fifth consecutive day on Friday.

The doctors boycotted duties for two hours as token protest, demanding promotions of their 40 colleagues. They alleged Vice Chancellor Benazir Bhutto Medical University (BBMU) was ignoring the demanded of doctors.

They also demanded awarding them teaching allowance, GP Fund, Honorarium, Chairman Allowance and all other allowance under the university laws.

The doctors also sat on a token hunger strike. They included Dr. Ghulam Nabi Shaikh, Prof Iqbal Somroo, Prof Manzoor Chajro, Prof Manzoor Phulpoto, Dr. Manan Bhutto, Dr. Dilip Kumar, Dr. Muzaffar Abro, Dr. Amar Lal and others.
