Conference on minority today

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Pir Aminul Hasnat is hosting a conference on interfaith harmony on Friday to show solidarity with the minority community in the country and extend support to protect their rights.

A large number of religious leaders and members of Muslim and non-Muslim communities including Christians, Hindu, Sikh, Baha’i etc will participate in the event at a local hotel.

The objective of the conference is to provide an opportunity to all the communities to sit together for holding an interfaith dialogue lead to promotion of interfaith harmony for a peaceful society, Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Pir Aminul Hasnat said.

He said the programme is being held on the directives of the prime minister.
