Consul General of China Calls on Chief Minister Sindh

KARACHI: Consul General of the Peoples’ Republic of China Mr. Zhang Jianxin Wednesday had a farewell meeting with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah at C.M. House.

Chief Minister Sindh appreciated the efforts and role of outgoing Consul General of China who worked for furtherance and enhancement of relation between both countries.

He said that there had been very old and historical relations with China and even at crucial times, China and Chinese people had extended their assistance to our country and people of Pakistan.

The Consul General thanked the Chief Minister Sindh for full support to him and Consulate and hoped that Pakistan and China will always support each other in various sectors particularly the development projects.

Principal Secretary to CM Muhammad Siddique Memon and staff of consulate were present in the meeting. Chief Minister Sindh also presented traditional gifts of Ajrak, Sindhi Cap and Khais to the Consul General of China.
