Contingents of Pak Army proceed to districts

QUETTA: Pak Army contingents have proceeded to all districts of Balochistan for assuming responsibilities for security of Election 2013.

ISPR sources said here Monday that these troops have been dispatched on the request of Government of Balochistan. These districts are Mastung, Khuzdar, Kharan, Washuk, Turbat, Panjgur, Gwadar, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Noshki. Deployment of these troops would complete within next few days.

Sources said that Chief of Army Staff approved the project of development of troops for election at Corps Commanders Conference today. Under this on the request of Federal and provincial governments Army would be deployed in districts of the provinces for security of election.
