Ratodero: A Larkana Police head constable was gunned down near Empire police picket in the limits of Market police station of Larkana Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified as Bashir Ahmed Isran. According to eye witnesses he was coming to Larkana when near a flour mill on Pir Sher Road two persons riding a bike started firing at him. He was seriously injured and rushed to Casualty of the Chandka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
SHO Market police station Anwer Leghari told PPI that police is following the footprints of the criminals and found their bike abandoned near Jamali village in Guava orchids.
DGIP Larkana Khadim Rind said it is possible that Isran may have been killed due to old enmity, saying further probe was under way.
Isran left behind three widows and several children to mourn.
