Crime on rise in Naudero

Naudero, Sind: The incidents of motorcycle snatching have increased manifold in the limits of Naundero police station, while police are not taking steps to check the rising crime graph.

According to details, three motorcycles have been snatched in the past one week by a gang of three criminals who pillion ride a single bike.

Farhan Pahore, a student of Dokri Agricultural College, Ghulam Muhammad Mirani, SSGC employee, Nawaz Memon, a shopkeeper, all residents of Naundero were intercepted from by three armed men near Achan Shah bus spot on Naundero-Larkana road in the limits of Naudero police station and deprived of their motorcycles and other valuables.

They told PPI that there were three criminals, two holding pistols and the third knife. They said these bandits mostly operate in morning hours, when people go to Larkana for work or in the evening when they return home. They said that despite increase in such incidents no action by the police is witnessed and the Naundero-Larkana road is becoming a no-go road for the bikers.

These people further said that they informed about the incidents to the SSP’s control room but to no avail.

When the SHO Naudero police station Sadoro Lashari was contacted he said that he is unaware of these incidents as nobody had lodged FIR in this regard. He further said that police cannot do anything until it receives a formal complaint.

Separately, the house of a policeman was robbed at village Hassan Wahan Saturday night in the jurisdiction of Naudero police station.

Constable Akbar Channo told media that 8 armed men barged into his house at 2.30 am and caught hold of all family members at gunpoint. They took away valuables including his government rifle and his two buffaloes.

Naundero Police were busy in following the footprints but without any clue or recovery so far.

The citizens of Naudero have urged the higher authorities to take notice of the increasing crime in the area.
