Peshawar: Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Shehzad Arbab on Wednesday accorded approval for several mega projects including establishment of technical university in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, launching of “Khud Kifalat Scheme” with a sum of rupees two billion and a scheme of imparting world class technical training to 500 youth.
The sanction to this effect was granted in a high level meeting held at his office in Peshawar on Wednesday. Secretary Industries, Muhammad Ali Shehzad, DG Technical Education, Prof. Shakeel Khan and others were also present on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary said that Khud Kifalat Scheme was a big project and it would help the youth of the province to a great extent. Regarding the project for establishment of technical university, he said that it should be planned in such a way that it could give quality education and training. He also appreciated performance of the industries department.
