Karachi: Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry has emphasized upon timely processing and disposal of the cases, specifically pertaining to the orders of Supreme & High courts. He was chairing a meeting to review the implementation status on the courts’ orders, this morning.
Ejaz Chaudhry noted that no compromise could be possible on negligence from duty and delay in the work. He asked the Officers of Board of revenue, Sindh to ensure good governance and submit a report on the complaints received in the B.O.R, Directorate of Anti-Encroachment and disposal, thereof, within 24 hours.
Member cum Secretary, BOR Land Utilization Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah gave a presentation, elaborating the stepwise occupation of Land of KPT, PQA, DHA, KANUPP & MDA and other certain quarters including Karachi based villages. The presentation contains status of the Land territories of the above institutes in 2000 – 2005 and 2012. He informed that, Deputy Commissioners of Karachi have associated to carry out his assignment.
Chief Secretary appreciated the presentation. He required a comprehensive report on institutional and illegal occupation of Land encroached by the Government, Semi Government & Private parties and individuals, within 24 hours regarding the issue of PTCL installations on the private land.
Chief Secretary asked SMBR Senior Member Board of Revenue to furnish the progress, without further delay. He also advised to strictly monitor the services of Mukhtiarkars with the specific reference of encroachment.
The meeting was attended by SMBR Shahid Gulzar sheikh, Secretary Implementation Dr. Riaz A. Memon, Administrator KMC Saqib Soomro, Secretary L.U.S. Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Consultant BOR Nazar Muhammad Leghari and Director Anti Encroachment BOR, Waheed Ahmed.
