SIALKOT: The dead body of the missing young son of Daska based trader found from the banks of local canal near Nandipur, after the fifteen days of his abduction. Reportedly, some local villagers saw the dead body and informed the police. Later, it was identified as Muhammad Asif, the son of Hajipura-Daska based trader Muhammad Ilyas Rehmani.
According to the FIR lodged by the trader Muhammad Ilyas Rehmani under section 365 PPC on February 11,2014, as many as six accused including Muhammad Azam, Abdul Jabbar and Tayyub Ali had kidnapped the youth Muhammad Asif from his house in Daska city’s congested Hajipura locality on February 04,2014 fifteen days ago.
The grieved family told the police that the major reason behind this brutal assassination after abduction of their beloved son was a marriage row. The victim Muhammad Asif was engaged with his cousin Asiya Bibi, who actually wanted to her cousin-turned-paramour Muhammad Azam. She planned this entire tragic and brutal incident with the help of accused Azam her cousin-turned-paramour. Azam along with his five other companions had kidnapped youth Asif from near his house fifteen days ago, in a bid to remove him from the smooth way of their love marriage.
Police added that the accused Asiya Bibi got killed her cousin-turned-fiancé Asif for getting her love marriage with her other cousin-turned-paramour accused Azam.
Daska police handed over the dead body to the grieved family for burial after autopsy at Daska Civil Hospital. Police have started investigation with no arrest, in this regard. Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Gohar Nafees told the newsmen that the accused kidnappers-cum-killers would be arrested soon as the police teams were raiding at various places to ensure the early arrest of the accused.
Later, he was laid to rest in his native graveyard at Hajipura-Daska amid sobs and tears in the presence of hundreds of the mourners from all walks of life.
