Karachi: Sindh National Movement (SNM) on Saturday staged a demonstration outside Karachi press club against abuse of Sindhi’s Hindus and forced conversions after kidnapping.
The participants were holding banners and placards in their hands. They chanted slogans against violence against Hindus. They demanded of provincial government to redress their problems. They also called for cessation of kidnapping of Hindu girls and their forced conversion.
On the occasion, the leader of Hindu community Doctor Barma said that religious extremism was on rise in the country which he thought was a conspiracy against Sindh.
Barma said that Sindhi Hindus are part of Sindh and Islam does not allow any violence against other religious communities and minorities.
He demanded of Sindh government to redress their problems and give them protection..
