Demo, sit-in, road blockage in Jhuddo against 2-hour load shedding

Jhuddo, Sindh: The enraged citizens of Jhuddo town of Mirpur Khas district took to the streets on Tuesday and staged demonstration and sit-in at Jhuddo-Mirpur Khas road besides attacked the local office of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company to protest against 20-hour power cuts that has made their life miserable.

The HESCO staff fled from the office seeing the sticks-holder protesters. The protesters blocked the road and torched old tyres. Chanting slogans against the HESCO officials, they warned to stop power cuts otherwise they would continue severe protest.

They said 20-hour load shedding has destroyed their business and even they could not get water, which is supplied from Tando Jan Muhammad.
