Deputy Speaker calls on Prime Minister

Islamabad: Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Faisal Karim Kundi called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Friday and discussed matters relating to legislative business in the Assembly.

The Prime Minister appreciated the performance of the incumbent Assembly as historic legislations were passed during the last five years.

The Deputy Speaker apprised the Prime Minister of the legislative business which would be taken up by the National Assembly during the forthcoming session starting December 10, 2012.

The Deputy Speaker also discussed with the Prime Minister issues related to the welfare of National Assembly members.

The Prime Minister assured that every possible measure will be taken to facilitate the legislators so that the legislative business of the House runs smoothly.
