Diplomatic Pakistan enjoys brotherly relations with Qatar, Prime Minister

Islamabad: Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Allthani, Royal Prince of Qatar called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at Prime Minister House and discussed matters of bilateral interests.

While talking to Prime Minister, the Royal Prince said that Qatar and Pakistan enjoy brotherly relations.

Government of Qatar, said the Prince, has recently constructed a model village in Rahim Yar Khan District comprising 200 houses of two rooms each, two schools, play ground, mosques and a shopping area.

This village was constructed to rehabilitate people displaced by the recent floods. H.E Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Allthani said that the government of Qatar plans to construct more such model villages in Pakistan.

Appreciating the keen interest taken by the Royal family of Qatar, the Prime minister said that this shows the love and affection of the Royal family and people of Qatar for the people of Pakistan. He said that Qatar has always stood by Pakistan in times of need.

In this connection, the Prime Minister recalled Qatar’s assistance during recent floods and visit of Crown Prince of Qatar during earth quake.

Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Allthani informed the Prime Minister that Qatar had made investments in Pakistan and was exploring new opportunities to invest more in the country.

Mr. Sayar Abdur Rehman AlMawada, Ambassador of Qatar in Pakistan and Mr Sadiq Sanjrani, Chief Coordinator, Prime Minister Secretariat were also present in the meeting.
