Disabled cricket team camp commences today ahead of five-nation tourney (Daily Messenger (Pakistan))

The six-day training camp of Pakistan Disabled cricket team commences today (Tuesday) here at National Stadium ahead of the forthcoming ICRC International Cricket Tournament for People with Physical Disabilities Bangladesh 2015.

The tournament will be competed from September 2 to 10 between five nations. Apart from Pakistan and host Bangladesh, India, England and Afghanistan will also compete in the tournament.

Coach Pakistan Zafar Iqbal will be the camp commandant while Mohammad Javed will be assistant coach. Dr. Noman Palikar (Sports Physician) and Shakir Khilji (Video Annalist) will also be present during the camp. Saeed Ali will be camp in-charge.

Former Pakistan captains Javed Miandad, Rashid Latif and other former and current national players will also visit the camp to motivate and give tips to the disabled cricketers.
