Disciplinary action demanded against independent candidate running election drive on PMLN platform

Peshawar: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Candidate from PK6, Mohammad Sattar Khalil has demanded of the party leadership to take disciplinary action against Raees Khan of Achar, contesting election as independent candidate from this constituency under the platform of PMLN.

Speaking at a news conference here at press club on Monday, PMLN president district Peshawar, Sattar Khalil alleged that the independent candidate Raees Khan has no more affiliation with party despite that running election campaign under the banner of PMLN in the constituency PK6.

Flanked by the party information secretary district Peshawar, Shamsur Rahman, and other activists, he said the PMLN youth wing Rahamdil Khan was also supporting the Raees Khan, betraying masses to vote him by affiliating with the PMLN. He termed it was also violation of Election Commission of Pakistan, demanded for take action against the independent candidate.

Sattar Khalil also demanded of the party central leadership to take prompt action against the Raees Khan and Rahamdil Khan for violating the party rules and immediate cancel their basic membership.
