District: Child drowns in Naullah Bhed

Sialkot: A minor child Arsalan drowned in flooded Naullah Bhed in Sialkot city. Reportedly he was standing there when he flowed in the faster flow of flood water in Naullah Bhed which also over flowed in Sialkot city and played havoc there.

The torrential rain also put the seasonal Naullah Bhed, which passes through the congested residential and industrial areas of Sialkot city. Bhed Naullah also over flowed in Sialkot city, inundating the entire Sialkot city, as water also entered into the houses, due to which the local people suffered from great ordeal in draining out the rain and flood water from their houses on self help basis here.

On the other hand, monsoon’s torrential rain played havoc and it flooded the entire Sialkot city , as the wide spread heavy rain today lashed out Sialkot region followed by the heavy wind storm, inundating the Sialkot city and all the urban and rural low lying areas in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils .

Torrential rain also badly affected the electricity and communication systems due to which the supply of electricity remained suspended for several hours in urban and especially rural areas of Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils. It remained dark cloudy with the loud thunder of the clouds. Heavy rain inundated all the low-lying urban and rural areas of Sialkot region, which paralyzed the normal life, besides, forcing the people to come out on the roads and in the streets to enjoy.
