District: Indian shelling creates panic, harassment among people

Sialkot: The Indian Border Security Forces continued indiscriminate intensified firing on Pakistani bordering villages in Bajwat, Chaprar, Sucheetgarh and Shakargarh Sectors of Sialkot Working Boundary as this firing remained continued the whole day today Sunday by BSF intermittently.

This indiscriminate firing by Indian Border Security Forces BSF created panic and harassment among the local people. The perturbed and terrified villagers have started shifting to the safer places from these villages with their necessary luggage and cattle loaded on the trucks and tractor trolleys, as the Indian shelling on Sialkot villages today prolonged to the fifth consecutive day.

According to the senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the Indian Border Security Forces also continued firing on Sialkot bordering villages till early Sunday morning almost the whole of the last night intermittently here. However, the Chenab Rangers retaliated instantly in befitting manners due to which the Indian guns became silent. BSF used heavy machine guns and also fired mortar shells, the officials added.
