District: Minorities enjoying complete religious freedom, says Firdous

Sialkot: Federal Minister for National Regulation and Services Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that minorities were enjoying the complete religious freedom in the country. They have been playing their pivotal role in national peace, prosperity, integrity, solemnity and development, she added.

She stated this while addressing the local Christian community after laying the foundation stone of the construction of a Church at village Chak Mandaahar. She has donated a five Marlas land for establishing this church.

Federal Minister said that being equal citizens of one State, government was empowering the minorities to use their talent for national development. She revealed said that X’mas gives the message of love, peace and compassion for humanity.

She also cut the X’mas cakes during the special ceremonies held at the local churches in villages Bhoth, Hunterpura and Sialkot, besides, distributing the X’mas gifts among the local Christians.
