District: PTI office bearers District Chakwal join PMLN

Chakwal: The president of PTI District Chakwal along with other officer bearer resigned from PTI and join hands with PMLN on Sunday in a meeting that was presided over by defence analyst Lt. General Abdul Qayyum.

The candidates of NA of PMLN major retired Tahir Iqbal and other officer bearer of the PMLN was also present on this occasion. Mr. Naeem Akram who had applied a party ticket of PTI at NA 60. Naeem Akram who is also real brother of district president Rizwan Akram and vice president Labiba Iffat speaking on this occasion told that Imran Khan backed out from his commitment and he promised to give ticket to the party workers intra party election were announced.

Naeem Akram told that he along with his brother enrolled more than 27000 members in district Chakwal but now the party tickets were awarded to those people who recently joined with PTI while he and his family were working with PTI from the last many years.

General Abdul Qayyum welcomed the officer bearer of PTI into the ranks of PMLN and assured that a due respect and honour would be given to the new entrance.

General Abdul Qayyum on this occasion announced his full support to Major retired Tahir Iqbal who was awarded party ticket of PMLN despite he was also a candidate for this ticket.

General Qayyum told that Nawaz Sharif is the only experienced leaser available in the election who can take out the country out of the present challenges faced by the country.

Major retired Tahir Iqbal admitted that some mistakes have been made in the past but he assured that due respect is to be provided to the party workers. He appealed to the PMLN workers that they should start a massive campaign as only 20 days have been left.
