Dr Malik Baloch speaks

QUETTA: President National Party and Chief Minister designate Dr Abdul Malik Balch has said restoration of law and order in Balochistan would be our topmost priority. He said no corruption would be allowed in t he province and whoever was involved would be taken to task. Provincial cabinet would be formed under 18th amendment.

He was speaking to news men at MPA hostel here Sunday after he was nominated Balochistan Chief Minister jointly by PMLN, Pahtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party and National party.

Secretary General national party Tahir Bizenjo, Shakeel Advocate and large number of party workers were also present on the occasion.

Dr Malik said it would be his priority to maintain law and order in the province. Excesses committed against Baloch during past 65 years would be ended.

He said he was in contact with angry Baloch nationalists and would hold talks with them.

He would be fully powerful chief minister. Decision about Speaker and Deputy Speaker would be taken soon.

He aid corruption made in the previous regime would be dealt with according to the law. He made it clear any one found involved in corruption action would be taken against him and no one would be spared.

He said media would be free to keep eye on our performance. We do not afraid of criticism. We are political peole and criticism improves performance.

He said he was thankful to PMLN for his nomination as Chief Minister and expressed confidence in him.

He said it was always complained Punjab does not fight for right of Baloch but today they proved they nomination National Party leader a Chief Minister. We would not disappoint them and responsibility laid on his would be fulfilled.

He said action should be taken against those involved in Nawab Bugti murder case and no one should be spared.
