Dr Malik meets Akhtar Mengal

QUETTA: President National Party and Chief Minister designate Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said there is need for collective struggle for peace and order, removing lawlessness and for rights of Baloch people.

He expressed these views at his meeting with President Balochistan National Party Dr Abdul Malik Baloch at his residence here Monday.

Secretary General National Party Tahir Bizenjo and Senior Vice President BNP Dr Jehanzeb Jamaldini were also present.

He said he needs guidance and he would meet all the political parties to resolve the issues at the earliest.

Sardar Mengal on the occasion said government is confronted with different challenges particularly recovery of mutilated dead bodies found on daily basis. This should stop immediately. Incidents of abduction for ransom have created fear among the masses. Those who have migrated should be brought back to end sense of deprivation and fear among people.

Earlier addressing party workers at MPA hostel Dr Malik Baloch said he was thankful to Mian Nawaz Sharif, Mahmood Achakzai for nominating him as Balochistan Chief Minister. They have given him an opportunity to serve the province and its people.

He said decisions of allies have put him in an examination and he would do his best to go through it. He said he desires to joint political forces of Pakistan to provide relief to the masses. Without unity people cannot be provided relief. He said recommendations to be put forth by Central Committee of his party would be bound to implement them. He aid Central Committee would have the right to make Dr Malik accountable on his mistake.

He asked party workers to speed up their struggle to stop recovery of dead bodies, missing persons and resolution of other problems. He said Balochistan needs serious behaviour.

He aid Baloch and Pashtoons have been living and struggling together. Party workers should not take steps as hurts the souls of Aziz Magsi, Abdul Samad Achakzai.
