ECP considers complaints regarding establishment of polling stations

Islamabad: In its meeting held at Islamabad the Election Commission of Pakistan ECP has considered the complaints regarding establishment of polling stations at wrong locations, received by it from across the country and directed to send all such complaints to the concerned Provincial Election Commissioners to be examined by them in the light of instructions issued by it for the preparation of lists of polling stations by the Returning Officers.

The Commission has directed that the PECs will also take into consideration all the complaints of similar nature received in their respective offices.

The PECs have been further directed to send their reports on each complaint with their own views thereon. On receipt of such reports from PECs, the Commission may pass appropriate orders in its next meeting.
