Education: Teachers urged to fulfil responsibilities

Islamabad: President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) DR. Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh has said that university should focus on standard of education rather than the number of students.

Teachers must fulfil their responsibilities with great punctuality and devotions, they present themselves as a role model for the students. These view, were expressed by president while he was addressing to the members of Faculty of Usul- Uddin.

Dr. Al-Draiweesh put stress on the need that the teachers may develop frequent understandings with students and try to settle their educational matters on priority basis, thinking that students are the precious asset of Ummah and our future associated with them. He emphasized on the requisite of social grooming of the students which is basic thing to achieve the desired results from education.

In his address, he informed about the MoUs with Saudi Universities took place during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia. He said that all faculties will take benefits from the MoUs to pace up the educational and research activities.

He also assured them that students and teachers would be exchanged with different Saudi universities for the cause of higher studies and research. Dr. Al-Draiweesh also informed in detail about the scholarships that would be given to students of IIUI by different educational and welfare institutions.
