Karachi: Jamiat UlemaeIslam JUI Sindh Sectary General Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Hafiz Abdul Qayum Nomani, Syed Siraj Ahmed Shah Amroti, Maulana Abdul Qayum Halejvi and Muhammad Aslam Gori in a joint statement on Wednesday expressed deep concern over prevalent country situation and said that that external powers were attempting to destabilize Pakistan through their agents since long time.
“The ethnic and sectarian violence, Hazara community people’s killing in Quetta and murders of religious teachers and students in Karachi are the part of such conspiracy.”
They said Pakistani citizens, political and religious parties have been fighting such conspiracies since long time.
They said Pakistan People’s Party PPP government was busy in carrying out political bargaining over the last five years.
They said Interior Minister Rehman Malik had failed to ensure the arrest of the culprits.
The JUI leaders said the government officials were not prepared to accept responsibility of their failure.
