FC Commandants conference

QUETTA: Frontier Corps Balochistan mobilizing all its resources would face all sorts of situation with courage and ensure establishment of peace in the province.

This was pledged by Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Obedullah Khan while chairing two day Commandants Conference was held at FC headquarters here.

Conference reviewed professional matters, standard of training of jawans, security along borders and law and order situation in the province and took important decisions.

While urging training of jawans IG said in view of changing situation and challenges their training would be made coordinated and established on modern lines.

Conference held detailed review of situation and all the Commandants were directed to further strengthen checking and control along the borders and every possible effort be made for further improving law and order situation in the province.

General Obedullah appreciated performance of Ghaza Band Scouts and officers and jawans for their performance after FC was vested powers under Antiterrorism law in January resulting in minimizing crimes and terrorism incidents. He said FC performance is worth proud. He directed Commandants for seeking cooperation of people and every strata of society for cleansing Quetta of crimes and continuing effective action against criminal elements so that historic and traditional peace of Quetta is restored.

IG FC reiterated his pledge that no sacrifices would be spared for making Balochistan peaceful and exemplary province. He expressed the hope that other organizations and civil society would continue its cooperation with FC for peace and people’s welfare because only peace and progress can include us among civilized and developed nations.
