Federal Ombudsman has solved about eighty thousand public complaints during last one year.
Talking to newsmen in Peshawar on Monday afternoon, Federal Ombudsman Syed Tahir Shahbaz said these complaints were relating to electricity, gas, NADRA, Immigration, Insurance, Education and health sectors.
Syed Tahir Shahbaz said mobile app has been launched by ombudsman through which public can register their complaints online about one hundred and eighty federal departments.
Referring to the reforms in jails, he said the ombudsman has directed the provincial government to provide all the necessary facilities to the prisoners in all jails of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He urged media to create awareness among public about importance of Ombudsman in solution of public problems.
Federal Ombudsman said the department will soon hold a seminar for media in governor house for this purpose.
