Five killed in different mishaps

Karachi: Four women and one man were killed in different accidents in the city on Monday. Safia wife of Muhammad Munir died after she was hit of a bus within the jurisdiction of Gulberg police station in Karimabad near PSO pump.

According to police she was going in Chingchi rickshaw, when suddenly a bus hit.

Driver Shehzad was caught and FIR was lodged on the complaint of her son Farhan. The body was moved to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital ASH for medicolegal formalities.

An unknown woman, aged 30, died due to electrocution in a factory during work in Korangi Industrial Area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JMC for autopsy, said rescue sources However, the area police did not confirm the incident.

A 25yearsold Hasan and a unknown woman, 35, were died in a road accident in Nursery area near Lalkothi. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JMC for autopsies, said rescue sources. However, the police didn’t confirm it.

A 25yearsold Sobia Shaheen, daughter of Umar Bhatti committed suicide by hanging herself in her home in Baldia Town.

Police said that the motive of suicide wasn’t ascertained. Her husband works in traffic police and she wasn’t living with him for last 4 months due to domestic disputes.

The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for Medicolegal formalities.
