Four brothers gunned down in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Four people were gunned down in Hyderabad city on Friday early morning in an attack apparently linked to an old enmity.

Police said the incident took place in Hyderabad’s Hussain Abad roundabout where armed men riding motorbikes opened fires on four people travelling in a car, seriously injuring all of them. A passerby was also wounded in the firing. The injured were rushed to civil hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Police said it was a case of old enmity between two clans. The deceased Wali Muhammad, Asif, Murtaza and Zulfiqar belonged to Solangi clan and the attackers are said to be of Abbasi clan.

The victims were reportedly heading to sessions court to appear in a case hearing when the attackers targeted them.

According to police all the four deceased persons were brothers.
