Four including political worker killed in Karachi

Karachi: Four people including a political worker were killed in different areas of the city on Thursday.

Saleem Nabi, 42, was gunned down while one Wahid Ali, 32, was wounded when unknown armed assailants opened firing within the remit of Saudabad police station near RCD Groung, Malir.

The body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

Police said that the victim received five bullets while the injured received one bullet in his stomach.

The victim belonged to a political party. Police suspect that the killing might be on political basis.

FIR was lodged on complaint of his brother, Muhammad Azeem.

A man was shot dead in his home by unknown miscreants within the jurisdiction of Taimuria police station in North Nazimabad. The victim is identified as Nazar Khan, =45. The body was shifted to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medicolegal formalities.

One Sarfaraz, 25, son of Muhammad Anwar was gunned down by unknown armed men within the remit of Mochko police station of Baldia Town. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

Ashfaq, 22, son of Sarwar was shot dead by unknown armed assailants in Nazar Roundabout, Hub Chowki. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.
