Four killed in city violence

KARACHI: A woman among four were gunned down and another person injured in separate acts of violence in metropolis on Tuesday. Rasheed, 28, son of Nazir, was killed when unknown armed men opened fire on him near Areo Club, within the remit of Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

Shehnaz, 35, was shot dead by armed men in her home at Muhammadi Colony in Machar Colony. The body was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities.

Two persons were gunned down by unknown armed assailants near Shah Waliullah road in Lyari. One was identified as Javed, 40 whil other’s identity could not be ascertained yet. The bodies were brought to CHK for autopsies.

Shehzad, 26, was shot at and injured by unknown armed men near Nasir Jump in Korangi. The injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.
