Four killed in Karachi mishaps

Karachi: Four people including a child died in different incidents of firing and road mishap here on Wednesday.

A fast-moving vehicle knocked to death five years old Farrukh and wounded 40 years old Naeem and 30 years old Farah Naz near Banoria Chowrangi, Jamshid Town area in the remit of Soldier Bazaar Police Station. The body and injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi.

Similarly, 30 years old Imran died in hit and run incident in Korangi Town No21/2. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JPMC for postmortem. The driver fled from scene.

Separately, 35 years old Shireen w/o Shahabuddin died in a firing incident inside her house under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday night in Samanabad area in the limits of Samanabad Police Station. The body of was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, a three days old body of a mentally retarded man was found from a drain in Orangi Town No5 in the jurisdiction of Orangi Town Police Station on Wednesday. It was shifted to ASH for postmortem.

In a firing incident, 32 years old Saghir and 30 years old Zamir were wounded near Ghas Mandi area. The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
