Four more dengue cases reported

Karachi: Four more dengue viral fever cases were reported in Karachi, said Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh on Thursday.

Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh Dr M Shakeel Aamir Mullick said that a total of 416 dengue fever cases have been reported in Sindh province since January 2013, out of them 405 were reported in Karachi alone, while 11 were in rest of province.

He said three dengue patients expired in Karachi this year so far. Mullick said that eight dengue patients were still admitted to different hospitals of the Sindh and four new cases were reported in Karachi on 11th July.

However, four patients were discharged from hospitals after treatment.
