Four pilgrims killed, three injured in road accident near Sehwan

Sehwan Sharif: Four persons were killed and three others injured when a car with pilgrims collided with a dumper on the Indus Highway near Sehwan on Sunday morning. According to Sehwan police, a car with the pilgrims was en route to Sehwan from Karachi to pay homage at the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. When driver of the car lost control of the vehicle, it rammed into a stationary dumper on Indus Highway near Garhi Mori, Lal Bagh area of the city at around 8am.

The bodies and injured persons were taken to Taluka Hospital Sehwan. Four deceased were identified as 50-year-old Muhammad Sadiq, 38-year-old Amir, 28-year-old Noman and 35-year-old Shakeel. Three Injured persons included Danish, Imran and Owais, who were later referred to Jamshoro for medical aid due to their critical condition. Official said that the victims belonged to Kharadar area of Karachi.
