Four Rangers men killed, eight injured in bomb blast

KARACHI: Four Rangers personnel were killed and eight persons, including five Rangers men, injured in a bomb blast at Bhittai Rangers Headquarters in Korangi, here on Wednesday.

The bomb exploded at a time when Rangers vehicle entered Bhittai Rangers Headquarters in Korangi No.5. The bomb explosion spread panic in the area.

The bodies and injured were shifted to Sind Government Hospital Korangi and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JPMC for medicolegal formalities and treatment.

The condition of two Rangers personnel was stated to be critical at JPMC till the news was filed. Rangers and police sealed all entrances and exits points of the incident site soon after the blast.
