FPCCI’s president leaves for Ankara

Islamabad: Mr. Zakaria Usman, newly elected President FPCCI left for Ankara, Turkey to attend 8th Istanbul Forum to be held on 13th February, 2014 on the sideline of 8th Trilateral Summit amongst the President of Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Istanbul Forum for Economic Cooperation between Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey was established in 2007 under the ages of Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The forum will finalize a joint declaration on strengthening logistics/transport connections between three countries and further to Central Asia and South Asia. This declaration will be personally presented to the Presidents of three countries in 8th Trilateral Summit.
