Gallup: Views divided over rainfall received amount: Survey

Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, views are divided on whether Pakistan received less (40%) or the same amount of rainfall (38%) this year.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “According to your information, was there less, more or same amount of rain this year in Pakistan?” Responding to this 40% said less, 38% said the same amount of rain and 17% said more. However, 5% did not give a response.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2730 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during February 04 to 11, 2013.
