Government, TTP committees likely to resume dialogue process today

Islamabad: The committees formed by the government and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) will likely to resume peace talks today Wednesday. According to media reports the decision to hold meeting comes after Professor Ibrahim and Maulana Yousaf returned from North Waziristan where they met with the political shura of TTP. Ibrahim and Yousaf who are members of the committee nominated by the TTP conveyed the government’s demand for peace talks to the TTP leadership. During a news conference, Professor Ibrahim said the dialogue process had entered a critical phase and he had received a positive response from the TTP leadership to the governments’ demands.
