Governor condemns Peshawar church attack

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has expressed grief and sorrow over loss of precious human lives in Peshawar bomb explosions and strongly condemned it.

He said here Sunday that killing of large number of people including women and children is not less than a tragedy. People of Balochistan share grief of people of Khyber Pashtoonkhwa.

Governor said we should jointly face terrorism and lawlessness and eliminate if from the country and keep in view elements behind such incidents. He said at a time when situation was heading in a positive way happening of such incidents should be matter of concern for us.

He offered special condolences and sympathy with Christian community of Khyber Pashtoonkhwa and said that this is against Pashtoon traditions and religious tolerance. He also prayed for eternal peace for departed souls and early recovery of injured persons.
