Hindu community people stage demo against abduction of 14year girl in Shahdadpur

Shahdadpur, Sindh: A large number of people including men and women hailing from Hindu and Bheel community staged demonstration outside local police station and blocked the road to lodge protest against kidnapping of 14year girl Jamna Bai, the domestic servant of a trader Nand Kumar.

They chanted slogans against the police and influential persons involved in abduction.

Luxman Bheel, father of abducted girl, in his complaint lodged at police station had stated that five days back his daughter was returning home after completing work at the house of Nand Kumar Jethamal when she was abducted at gun point by accused Roni Kumar and Shaukat Palh and shifted to unidentified place.

The police after registering FIR arrested Roni Kumar. Investigation Officer told media that police have received some documents through courier according to which Jamna Bai has embraced Islam and wedded to Shaukat Palh.

The protesters however accused police of siding with the abductors for huge money. They said the girl has not reached to the age of puberty and she was abducted forcedly.

Meanwhile, the officials of Shahdadpur A-Section and City police stations disputed over the jurisdiction. Both the police stations claimed that incident took place in their limits. DSP however decided the matter through toss and handed over the case to City police for investigation.
