IEEEP fair kicks off

Karachi: To boost electrical and electronics exports, Industrial, Electrical & Electronics Exhibition of Pakistan (IEEEP) Fair 2013 started in Karachi Expo Center from October 29th to 31st.

The event was inaugurated by Sharmila Faruqi, Member of Provincial Assembly, Sindh. She visited various stalls of the exhibition and appreciated the initiative taken by the organizing committee.

Expressing her views, she said, “It’s always a pleasure and a learning experience for me to visit this exhibition. These initiatives are of so much worth in the time when the world is heading towards technological advancements.”

She further said, stressing over the Energy needs that these channels are not only important to promote innovative ideas but they also provide need oriented solutions in order to satisfy energy demands.

Chairman IEEEP, Obaid-ur-Rahman Khan Kamal Zai said, “IEEEP FAIR would provide a great networking opportunity to electrical and electronic industry manufacturers, traders and service providers to interact with senior officials, professionals and key decision makers from related industries. The exhibition also provides a bridge between the Academia and Industry for our future generation of young engineers.”

IEEEP Fair 2013 is organized by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of Pakistan (IEEEP) Karachi Center, an association of Engineers of Pakistan, in collaboration of Badar Expo Solutions, the leading event management company of Pakistan.

“It is an exclusive forum for the electrical engineers and industry players to meet the challenge of rapid developments in the electrical engineering technology, to disseminate technical knowledge and to introduce up to date technology to its members in particular and the community of engineers in general”, said Zohair Nasser, Chief Operating Officer, Badar Expo Solutions, the Event Manager of IEEEP Fair.

The three-day event will gather the Electrical, Electronics, Allied Industry and Engineering sectors of Pakistan under one roof.
