Karachi: Inspector General of Police, Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch has sought detailed report from Additional IG Police Karachi about the bomb attack on SHC judge Justice Maqbool Baqar on Wednesday.
He directed for preserving the crime scene for collecting all the evidences in coordination with forensic division and the police so that investigation could go ahead effectively.
The IGP also directed for taking foolproof security measures for judges of SHC and lower courts, lawyers and officials of bar council at their offices, residential areas and their routes. The security plan in this regard should be implemented forthwith, he ordered.
He directed for byname deployment of the police officials for the security of courts, judges, car councils and lawyers with full briefing on the responsibilities.
The IGP further directed for speeding up targeted actions for the arrest of criminals involved in terrorism. The information sought from criminals, already arrested in heinous crimes, should be used in investigation.
