In a statement issued here, it demanded of the government to take immediate steps to resolve the CNG shortage issue. It said the present government and its coalition partners during their five years of tenure have failed to ensure provision of basic necessities to the people. The government, instead of providing masses relief, has given deteriorated law and order situation, boosted extortion, unemployment and load shedding and shortage of CNG, they added.

It regretted the government has failed to implement SC verdict to ensure availability of CNG at reduced price, just for the sake of the vested interest of rulers. The citizens suffer while standing in long queues at various CNG stations for obtaining fuel for their vehicles, but the ruling parties are least concerned to solve the issue.
