Journalist’s brother shot dead

Khairpur: Bother of a media man was killed near Gambat on Tuesday.

According to details, five unidentified armed men attacked the house of journalist Ghulam Rasool Bahleem at Village Hakim Bahleem near Gambat in the jurisdiction of Gambat police station and started firing upon the family members.

Resultantly, Lutfullah Bahleem, 50 died on the spot while attackers managed to flee. The body was brought to Gambat hospital and hand over to heirs after postmortem.

Police lodged the case and started probe.

According to journalist Ghulam Rasool Bahleem they had no enmity with anyone, He said perhaps armed men wanted to loot the house. He requested the authorities to arrest the culprits.
