Judges’ surprise visits: 15 teachers suspended, three faint

TANDO ADAM: In response to Supreme Court order, four judges along with relevant staff conducted surprise visits to various schools in Tando Adam taluka on Saturday and suspended 15 teachers for absent, while three teachers, including a lady teacher, fainted on seeing raiding team including a judge, education supervisor and other staff.

Additional Session Judge Tando Adam Ubaid Ahmed Yousufzai, Civil Judge Intizar Ahmed and two others paid surprise visits to schools in Union Council Mir Hassan Marri, Mank Thahim, Mitho Khoso, Pir Faqir Shoro and other localities of Tando Adam. Each team comprised a judge, education department supervisor and other staff.

During visits of judges, a buffalo was found in Primary School Arib Khaskheli, there was low number of students and a teacher was absent in Primary School Din Mohammad Dogar. Tubewell goods were also seen the school. Teachers were found absent in Primary School Odhar.

Soon after the surprise visit of the team comprising a judge, teachers of school Tasleem Bibi, Mohammad Ali Qureshi and one other fell unconscious on seeing raiding team. The fainted teachers were sent to a local hospital where they were given treatment.

In school Pir Faqir Shoro, judges asked for SMC record on which the teachers said that it was with a local landlord. Later, the landlord was asked to appear before the court.

It is reported that 15 teachers of different schools in Tando Adam were suspended for being absent during duty time.
