Karachi firing: At least 6 injured

KARACHI: The incidents of violence continued unabated in the city on Friday, injuring six people in separate firing incidents. According to rescue sources, unidentified men opened fire in Ibrahim Hyderi, injuring two people. They were identified as Shakir and Yasir and shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

In another incident, a woman, Fatima, 30, daughter of Usman, sustained bullet wounds in Gulshan-i-Qadri area of Malir. She was shifted to the JPMC.

Another woman, Amna, 35, daughter of Mohammad Hanif, was injured from the firing of unidentified men near Khushal Khan Chowk in Machhar Colony. The injured was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.

Separately, unidentified men opened fire on a 50-year-old man, Ilyas, in Millat Town area of Malir, seriously wounding him. He was brought to the JPMC for treatment.

A person, Amanullah, 40, son of Shah Mohammad, was injured from the firing of unidentified men near Superhighway. He was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

An unidentified man, aged 25, was injured in Bhittai Colony. He was shifted to the JPMC.
