Kashmir’s would never compromise on basic right to selfdetermination: Yaqub

Muzaffarabad: AJK President Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan has said that Kashmiris would never compromise on their basic right to selfdetermination and were committed to continue their struggle till the goal is achieved.

Talking to media in Muzaffarabad‚ he said that India could neither hoodwink international community by its baseless propaganda against Kashmiris freedom struggle nor could suppress the indigenous struggle of Kashmiri people by state terrorism. He called upon international human rights organizations to take serious notice of massive human rights violations by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan said AJK government is utilizing all the channels for highlighting Kashmir issue at International level. Referring to the development of Azad Kashmir‚ he said that resolution of Kashmir issue and development of the liberated territory are the top priorities of the present government. He said developmental projects costing billions of rupees are underway in the state‚ which after completion would play a vital in the economic prosperity of the state.
