KESC rids LGH from load shedding

Karachi: Karachi Electric Supply Company KESC has dedicated an exclusive feeder to Lyari General Hospital LGH and exempted it from load shedding.

KESC has already 16 hospitals from load shedding under its Social Empowerment Program. However, LGH was previously receiving power supply from a common feeder which, located in a high loss area, was facing normal load shedding hours.

After alteration in the 11 kV network, additional load has now been switched over to other high loss feeders and LGH feeder has become a dedicated feeder exclusively for supplying power to the hospital only.
