KMC administrator visits central office of city wardens

KARACHI: KMC Administrator Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi has said that city wardens were performing great services for city and they were active in helping and serving citizens along with controlling traffic therefore considering their services the department of city wardens should not only remain operative but also their problems should be resolved.

He said this during a visit to central office of city wardens located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal where he was accompanied by Sr. Director Municipal Services Masood Alam, Director City Wardens Minhajul Haq and other officers. On this occasion Administrator Karachi Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi while talking with city wardens said this department was being made more active so that services of city wardens could be improved and they could serve city and citizens in a better way.

He said that considering the services of city wardens KMC had already given approval for deployment of city wardens in the city before Ramadan under which city wardens along with traffic police would perform their role to maintain traffic flow on above 50 traffic jam locations in the city.

Administrator Karachi expressed the hope that city wardens would perform their best services during Ramadan. He said that city wardens during their training should pay their full attention to emerge their basic skills which include positive and friendly behaviour, confident personality, better understanding of emergency situations, capability of getting and implementing verbal and written instructions, ability to make right and timely decisions in the condition of mental stress, patience, strategy and pleasant mood, being healthy and active and capability of working with their colleagues and traffic police.
