Peshawar: The official portal of the Provincial Government www.kp.gov.pk is responsible for presenting information about the Province, the Government, its functions, policies, latest official news, tenders, government job opportunities etc.
It’s an honour that the site is attracting second highest hit rate in the Country. In order to timely present all relevant information on the website for general public, the Directorate of Information Technology has devised a two thronged strategy a building in house capacity in the departments to upload the information indigenously and b help collect the information from the Departments and upload the same on the site.
Currently Directorate of IT devised an Information and Services Publishing and Archiving System on the official web portal, where all the departments will be able to upload there information Contents, Departmental Pages, Citizen demanded information and Services Jobs, Tenders, News, Service Procedures, FAQs, Publications, Forms, Documents,
Policies etc. online.
Centralized public grievance and redressal system is part of the system, electronic complaints and feedback can be submitted and viewed/processed by concern department
Directorate of IT Arranged one day training session on uploading information and services to general public to fifteen departments in first phase, Secretary ST&IT chaired the training session and gave brief one governance program of the provincial government to the departmental focal persons.
Secretary ST& IT given emphasis on updating of different departmental website. Training aim to build the capacity building of the concern focal person for updating and publishing their information online in their respective section.
The following department attend training are Administration ,Establishment, Irrigation, Revenue, Higher Education , Planning & Development , Public Health Engineering, Law, Reform Implantation Cell, Zakat Department, Excise and taxation Department. The Training Activity will be continued for remaining department and directorates.
